One thing I notice is that Butters are just consumed by inflation. Inflation really makes them bonkers. They don't understand it and view it as evil. Even before I ran through the calculus behind inflation and how it drives economic growth it wasn't a concern to me. I just always got the causation and correlation. I've been in my career for 30 years and my wage increases outpaced inflation every year. Someone not in my shoes is absolutely going to hate inflation so if they are offered a system with deflation they're going to want it. Since they aren't in a position to be compensated for work that outpaces inflation it's their only chance at power. They can overlook that we've had times of deflation and all were associated with economic collapse. You can even run through the equations to understand why but people in the butter class either can't or won't run the numbers. They will never understand it. A CEO I used to work for always said "you're either growing or dying". THere is no middle ground. If you aren't growing you are dying. Crypto economics, the very simple algorithms they are, are not conducive to economic growth. Their policies are geared for speculative gain. HODL.
