Sign me up for the controlled trial. I've been a daily cannabis user and Crohn's patient for the past 10 years. While it may help some folks, this disease greatly varies in severity from one person to another, so there's no catchall treatment for the lot of us.

I just spent the last year in flare-up hell, with several overnighters at the local hospital. Massive doses of prednisone, followed by monthly Stelara injections have been the only way to obtain remission.

If cannabis provided me any kind of measurable relief, I would drop these biologics so fast! The side effects from the meds are shit, but on the flipside, Crohn's disease is also shit...but I don't think I have it particularly bad.
