Rec Room has a issue with kids

If you dislike kids then maybe the rec room is not really the best choice of game. This is the kind of game that children will be drawn to. That being said parents should definitely monitor their kids within social online games and teach them to not be disruptive of others. However you don't have the right to a child free game. You sound like an adult every bit as spoiled as the children you disliked in the game.

The developers need to decide if this is a problem they want to deal with. I would think they would. There are a myriad of possibilities others have presented.

One thing I personally have a problem with in VR is there is no way of knowing the talk mechanics of a game automatically. Is something push to talk? Open mic, etc. personally I think open mic apps should either have an always on notification like a volume level indicator while talking or at the very least a notice about it when starting the first time. As an adult I generally don't want to hear every idiotic thing coming out of an adult's mouth either. I am glad you are an adult and have a full repertoire of curse words to inflict on everyone you are playing with but they don't add anything useful to my gaming experience either. That being said I understand your witty banter is part of the experience and I need to deal with it if I want to play the game.
