A recent interview from Ramin Djawadi, GOT composer.

He left KL in the same clothes because that was his sentence.

No. He does not. He wears Stark clothes when he left Kings Landing. He changes into the LC uniform when he gets there.

He did twice before.

Once for his own family when he deserted for Robb. Its arguable whether he deserted the second time. The vow IS for life. He died. It no longer applies. What happened when he was offered to be Lord of Winterfell and avenge his own family? He declined to desert.

He had sex with a wildling. He left the NW to try to save his brother.

He needed to have sex with her because had he not done so, they would have known he was still working for the NW. He didn't know if Ygritte would or wouldn't tell on him. Now its another matter entirely that he fell in love with her but he had to do it as a part of his mission. He bailed on the wildlings at the first opportune moment

Not only is he not a Maestor, but Jon was sentenced to the NW whereas Aemon volunteered. There are literally no similarities other than their last name. Not only is he not a Maestor, but Jon was sentenced to the NW whereas Aemon volunteered. He can be a ranger then. I don't for a fact as to his position in the NW really is. Jon could have gotten the throne if he wanted as well. He turned it down.

This has nothing to do with destiny. It was a sentence. You can argue he was destined to kill Dany to stop her tyranny, but living out his life at CB is a huge stretch.

When I say he lives at Castle Black, I don't mean he will close all doors and windows and stay locked up. He can visit the wildlings, hang out with Tormund, maybe visit Winterfell but eventually he has to return.

Starting with Tormund telling Jon he belongs in the north before the Battle of KL. To Jon looking with admiration at the wildlings and children. To Jon looking back at CB like he is leaving it all behind, to then looking to the north.

You have to read that scene within its context. Dany was pulling him South by the ear into a war he had no interest in fighting and for a throne he did not want. He is sad in that scene and that's why he makes that comment about him. Tormund telling Jon what he thinks Jon likes resulting in Jon doing the same thing doing months later is quite a leap.

To illustrate, if I am being forced by my boss to attend his promotion party which I don't want to and my brother is going to watch a genre of movie I am indifferent to and I say "I wish I were going with you instead" that does not make me a fan of the genre.

I have no problem with people saying he went with the wildlings but don't call it clear or factual is what I am saying
