Backfire, Meepo, WowGo, Ownboard, Verreal?
I've read most of the posts and recommendations here, seen all the youtube reviews (most of them not really experts lol) and stuff so I think now I have a better idea about the esk8 world.
As most of the new people here I am trying to find my first electroboard with the best price-performance ratio. I think of the bugdet mainstream like Backfire, WowGo, Meepo, Ownboard or Verreal.
I have already been decided with which one I'm gonna go, but then it changed, then it changed again and then again. :)
The main mind-changer is the after sale customer service. I feel kinda frustrated while reading the facebook complains about the customer service not answering for weeks or even months, but I'm sure, there is plenty of satisfied customers with good experiences, who usually don't come out until something wrong happens.
What I researched, the Backfire customer service should be one of the better ones based on the peoples feedback. I tried to contact them all, all answered quite friendly and fast, except Meepo, they still take their time (EDIT: got their answer right now).
SO, I am about 77 Kg / 170 lbs and the board should take me to work (not everyday) about 2-3 Km and at the end of the day the same way back. Mostly smooth common surface, just one bridge slightly uphill. And ofc most of the time I'm gonna use it to have fun in free time, 'walks' with dog in park etc.
I don't really care if the max speed is 38 or 42 or 42,2 km/h. I'd rather prefer range and reliability (<-- yea I know, China). The deck not too stiff since I'm not about to brake the world speed record.
I know the esk8 market changes every week, especially in this chinese mainstream 'budget' section. I'm asking you to help me cause even it is budget, it's still like $500 and I dont want it to work about 2 months only.
