Who are we?
ASEC is an Arma 3 Milsim community that endevours to achieve a realistic, immersive and enjoyable experience. With the use of real military tactics, structure and procedure as our underpinning combined with a relaxed approach, we consider ourselves to be a semi-realistic unit.
Who do we play as?
We are based on a fictional department/corps of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Elements of our ORBAT, procedures and structure are inspired by the real life ADF, but have been gamified in order to create a fun, yet realistic experience in Arma.
We have a huge variety of weapons, camos, helmets, vests, facewear etc that means you can create a character that is uniquely your own, to the point where our members are often identified by sight only.
While our ORBAT consists of traditional company-level assets, we have spent time creating custom scripts and mods that make them both feasible and fun within the world of Arma. For example, our Engineers section have the ability to use a repair station to fully repair destroyed vehicles, as well as refuel and rearm vehicles in the field. They are also responsibile for building FOBs for our members to redeploy from and our rotary aviation wing to operate out of.
Another example is our Medical Emergency Response Team, a highly trained and well equipped 4-man team designated to resolve mass casualty incidents in high pressure situations, often while under fire with little to no support. Utilising aspects of KAT medical, this team is made up of our most knowledgable medical experts and is extremely effective at keeping the unit moving.

When do we run operations?
Our official operations are run every Sunday. This is the one we ask for commitment towards.
When Daylight savings is not observed.
Load into server: 1800 AEST
Op briefing: 1815 AEST
Step off: 1830 AEST
Mission end: 2030-2130 AEST
When Daylight savings is observed.
Load into server: No later than 1730 AEST
Op briefing: 1745 AEST
Step off: 1800 AEST
Mission end: 2000-2100 AEST
We also run unofficial operations and trainings throughout the week but these are optional.
Mission Types & Styles
Lead by an experienced Zeus team, we take pride that all of our operations are balanced, challenging and enjoyable week in and out.
Official operations are primarily focused on realism within either the modern setting or a historic setting allowing us to partake in different time periods as ASEC. Meanwhile. Unofficial operations have the ability to use any concept the mission creator desires, from futuristic to fantasy allowing unlimited creative freedom.
While newly founded. With thousands of hours within Arma and Milsim experience under our belts, we have the ability to provide an immersive and enjoyable experience for all members.
Want to join?
We currently have open positions in our specialist infantry roles, our armoured platoon, our engineers section, as well as our heavy weapons section and our IDF section. If you don't want to tie yourself down to a specific role, you can run as a reservist, where you will be assigned to a random section every week in order to fill in for absent members.
