Hi, I just had a first round at MBB where one interviewer was just atrocious, and I was not able to turn in a great performance in spite of it. I havent received my rejection yet, but this is the part where I naively ask if I have any recourse or way of indicating my complaint is more than sour grapes. The first interview went nearly perfect IMHO.

Abbreviated details: -The second interviewer was on an angry call in the conf room next to me during my first interview, and obviously couldnt compartmentalize this experience.
-After my first fit answer she unironically spent a full minute mocking me for how long my answer was. My answer was two bullets with three sub bullets instead of the standard three bullets and has passed me plenty of times. She closed this section by telling me to keep my next answer to 5-10 words, a feat she condescendingly said would be very hard and that I might not be capable of doing. Airport test failed... -My structure from the case fit the data she had nearly 1:1, but after explaining my structure (fix marketing effectiveness by looking at the # of promotions, response rate, average spend and compare to cost of each program, nothing wild...) she said she didnt understand, made me explain 2x and then said said we should think of some other things and led me on a wild goose chase for 15 mins before handing me a table that fit my structure nearly verbatim. My jaw dropped at how blatantly I was being sandbagged. This structure is on my collected notes.

These are just a few anecdotes from what was obviously a huge personality mismatch, and if it werent a situation where I could potentially avoid reporting to this person I would have withdrawn my candidacy on the way out. Two questions: 1)Would providing feedback on this to whoever contacts me with my rejection gain me anything but the opportunity to vent? 2)Is there any chance the office knows this interviewer was just having a shitty day or has terrible interviewing skills and my good performance in the first interview would pass me? Haha fml
