[Red Dead Redemption 2] That’s one way to get on a horse.

Solid points. I'm just of the old philosophy where a mid-cycle upgrade remains cosmetic. I compare the new way to cell phones because it's clearly inspired by the Apple method or is at least similar. IMO the Xbox One X and PS4.5 (not sure of the name) should have just been Xbox Two and PS5. Under cooking the initial hardware just to artificially extend this generation by later putting the hardware where it should have been in the first place is bad for the consumer. It's actually why I switched to PC. I figured spending 400 dollars twice for the same generation of console was pointless when that amount of money could get me a nice mid-range rig.

But to each their own. I'm can see the appeal of a "slow burn" generation I just can't justify it myself.
