Reddit, can you help us name our new dog? While we typically wait a week or two before giving our pets a name based on their behavior, in this case he's a 1yr old rescue terrier mix who has had quite a hard life up to this point and we feel he is deserving of a name ASAP!

My wife and I adopted this 1yr terrier mix today. He's cautious but is showing obvious signs of terrier behavior: ripping up toys and paper, an aversion to neighbors out the window, general shenanigans, etc., but he's also quite cuddle-centric, very quiet, and is a food grazer rather than devourer. A terrier enigma if you will.

A few names we've though of so far:

Winston

Ruffles (nephew and niece's contribution)

Maclin / Mac

Buster (he's a cartographer of course)

Saul

Nigel

We're open to any and all suggestions! Figured AskReddit is a nice twist on figuring out a dog name. Thanks to all who contribute!
