Why is the reddit icon black?

A few things they should do. First, the leadership of the company should be majority black. If the white people don’t want to accept this, then they should just be fired. Because at this point there’s no room for white supremacy in the world.

Second, they need to obliterate the white privilege. There’s already enough of it, doesn’t need to be on reddit too. Posts that show pictures of white people are fine, but unless they’re actively ending racism, they shouldn’t be placed above posts made by blacks. White people don’t need to be the top post all the time, and the algorithms need to make sure of this.

I also feel as though shadowbans should be used against white people who clearly think they’re superior. They can post all they want trying to spread hate, but if Reddit takes action, then no one will see it.

I also think white reddit users should be encouraged to admit their racist (or shadowbanned if they don’t). Admitting is the first step of making change. And also, the icon shouldn’t be a white dude. I think changing that would send the right message too.
