Reddit’s hatred of women is starting to effect me personally

There are 4 billion men on the planet. 60 million users on Reddit, figure half men and women (I think more men though). 40 million men on Reddit let's say, that is 1% of the entire men's population on earth. Reddit average age group is 15-30, a lot of men are very immature before the age of 30.

I started using Reddit 2 years ago and notice it is one of the most toxic places on the internet.

Don't get too discouraged by 1% of men when there is still 99% left, most of the men that come here are children and fuck ups.

On the planet entirely maybe there are 30% of men that are crappy, maybe more who knows. Impossible for it to be every guy like you say.

I am a guy(32), a lot guys that are shitty toward women I notice are assholes in general to everybody in life even themselves.

Don't get discouraged, keep trying to meet different men and change your social circles from time to time especially online.

As a man who has had a very hard life I actually always had more respect for women than my fellow men. My female friends where always more compassionate and understanding when I struggled, my male friends not so much.

Men in general tend to be this way even with other guys, it's not always just a man vs woman scenario. I no longer talk to my father and brother.

When I had colon cancer and was sick for years especially as a child, I only had women support me the most especially my mother. This really humbled me and open my eyes to the right people.

Most decent guys can acknowledge that there are a big % of men that act like animals.

Stay positive and don't get discouraged by online stuff, it's a poor representation of how most normal men act.
