Reddit users with siblings born significantly later, 10-15 ish years after you. What kind of relationship do you have with them?

Wow this is me but I am pretty late to the party.

My siblings are 16, 18, and 20 years older than me.

When I was a young kid I thought my sister's steady boyfriend (now husband) was also my brother and shared our last name.

I only have memories of one of my siblings living at home with my parents and me.

I was an uncle at age 11.

To be honest about it, I have a great family. To me it is less like I have older siblings are more like I have multiple sets of parents (all 3 of my siblings are married). They all kind of had a hand in raising me at one point or another. I feel like an only child to my parents and I kind of am, they had only family and got them started on their lives and then had another family (me). It's the most weird when we all get together and my siblings will tell stories of when they were younger and I am not a character in the stories because I was years away from being born. On the other hand, they all fondly remember my own childhood and I have good stories with each of them. My brother took me to see Jurassic Park. I would go stay with my oldest sister in "the big city." One of my oldest memories is of my other sister putting me to bed and singing me a song.

It's a unique family dynamic but I feel pretty lucky about it.
