Reddit, what is an animal that is NOT "more afraid of you than you are of it"?

Okay, listen, I get it. These things are aggressive as fuck. And they have super sharp beaks and probably some talon situation going on.

But after seeing that video, there is no fucking way I'm letting one of those things take me out.

If I have a gun, obviously it's over immediately. Let's say I have no gun, but I have a knife or a metal bat. I'm probably getting bit, maybe even seriously, but I'm still slitting that thing's throat or beating it to death and calling it a day.

Okay, let's say I have no weapon at all. I just encounter this thing in the wild in the days of old. I'm going to be honest with you, if it's life or death, and I'm aware of that fact, I'm taking this thing out. I think my general strategy would be to get close to it, let it lunge at me, and then fall onto it.

Here's the thought process: I'm probably going to get bit, even badly, on my legs. But by falling onto it I achieve two things: #1 Most importantly, I have immediate access to its throat, which I will use to cut off its windpipe and suffocate it. #2 I want to try to immobilize it so the talons (presumably) don't get into the mix.

Basically all I'm saying is that, after this video, I am 100% ready to kill one of these birds if I have to.
