Reddit, what is the most disturbing/unexplainable thing that has ever happened to you or someone you know?[Serious]

I want to start this off by saying i'm not religious or spiritual in any way. I also wanted to mention that I am Korean, and we live in Canada.

Back in 2017, my grandparents' health were deteriorating, and our family decided to take them in to care for them. We didn't have a lot of money, and we could barely stay afloat, so this put a lot of strain on my single mom, as we all worked to make ends meet.

After living with us for a month, my grandparents told my mom that they felt better and wanted to return to Korea. We obliged and sent them on their way. However, during their stay, we had a disagreement and I ended up acting like a little child and missed my chance to say goodbye to them as they were leaving.

Once they landed in Korea, they called my mom and asked if she can come stay with them for a bit. Fast forward 2 normal months, my mom returned. As soon as she landed, she got a call from her dad.

"I'm sorry for all the pain and suffering we have caused you, and we are sorry for being such a huge burden in your life. I hope you find happiness, and one day forgive us."

We later found out that they had committed suicide.

My entire family went to Korea to attend their funeral, but I was left behind to take care of the house and dog. During those lonely 2 months, I drank myself to sleep every night to try and cope with the regret of not being able to set things straight before their passing, and tell them I love them.

The night before my family returned, I had a dream where I was visited by my grandparents. They stood in front of this huge gate on the docks. I bolted to them and leapt into their arms and cried, asking for forgiveness and that i'm sorry for how I acted. They both smiled gently, and my grandma told me that it was okay, and that everything will be fine now.

After a while, they told me that they had to go, and began to walk towards the gate as it slowly opened. At that moment, I woke up, and I felt... happy.
