Reddit, what ways do you like to try cheer people up?

Ahh yes I get you. I think for me, if I was madly in love with the person, if probably love clingy. Also, I think I like the thought of it because, when you've been in a relationship with someone you're head over heels, madly in love with and they're distant and it feels like you've to beg them to even love you (yet they say they wanna be with you), I think that's why I'd kill for clingy. Because I just wanted to be shown that the person cared. So yeah, I think in my eyes, I'd much prefer clingy, and knowing, hey this guy actually loves the hell out of me and cares what happens to our relationship..to well..what I said before haha

I'm with you there. I also never got sick of being around my ex. I hope you find someone who fills everything you want!! :)

So my long distance past boyfriend was also my serious one. We actually met on omegle (lol, of all places) but we hit it off to an unreal amount. Had everything in common. We were basically the same person but different genders haha. It was great! He was actually from Australia. We did long distance for 3 months then he packed everything up to come over to me. It sounds like something out of a movie and I still can't believe it happened really. But yeah he came over, he was here for Christmas together, we got to celebrate my 18th together and everything then, it's a really long story but to summarise because I don't really want to splurge it all on reddit haha, we just didn't work out. He decided it was best to go back to finish uni and stuff and he realised, I guess he wasn't in love with me. It ended. The end. We still talk. We had a great friendship underneath it all I guess. But it broke me. I'm not sure he knows how much but it's all good. I'll be fine eventually I'm sure. Shit happens. Also he has reddit so..being careful haha I'll probably delete this comment in a bit or something.. He's also the one who showed me reddit so..bonus haha

What about you? What was your story?
