Redditor provides a list of statistics that shows how Republicans flip flop over issues depending on whose in charge.

Hijacking top comment to talk about the actual post since it seems nobody here even read it before upvoting.

Lets take a look at "Exhibit 1: Opinion of Syrian airstrikes under Obama vs. Trump"

First of all this was also before and after Assad started gassing their own citizens. But even more importantly, its a completely different question being asked. If you look at the first question (which was done through random digit dialing, which has issues but is an accepted sampling method), the first wave asked if they support missile strikes "against the Syrian government" for using "chemical weapons in the civil war there." The second wave asks if they support "a missile strike on a Syrian air base in retaliation for the Syrian government using chemical weapons against civilians." I'm not saying these are bad questions, but they are different questions. Question-wording makes an enormous difference in how people respond to surveys, particularly on moralized issues, and directly comparing these two questions here isn't intellectually honest.

Next one is "Exhibit 2: Opinion of the NFL after large amounts of players began kneeling"

This is completely a rational response and not in any way a "flip flop". If an organization does something you approve/disapprove of, your opinion changes.

Hillary supporters largely approved of the injection of BLM propaganda and kneeling into the NFL, while Republicans did not approve of it, so their opinion of the organization fell. This is why the NFL saw drastically lower ratings. People are free to change their opinions on an organization.

The next one "Exhibit 3: Opinion of ESPN after they fired a conservative broadcast analyst."

Again same thing. This is completely a rational response and not in any way a "flip flop". If an organization does something you approve/disapprove of, your opinion changes. If ESPN had fired some liberal talking head for their views, many Liberals would also have a lower opinion of ESPN. This how normal humans function.

Its like nobody even reads these /r/politics copypasta posts, they just upvote because they reinforce biases.
