Crazy paranoid adult son of my elderly next door neighbour was trying to build a homemade bomb and he caused an explosion which caught their house on fire. He stripped down naked and took off into our other neighbour’s yard. Three fire departments sent trucks to contain the blaze because it was in the middle of forest fire season and there are some woods and a power line behind our properties. They had a couple fire fighters standing on my garage roof spraying water into the fire so that my house wouldn’t catch. Our houses were approx 8 feet apart. They spent over 5 hours fighting the fire, the house was completely destroyed. My house didn’t get any damage, but the neighbours on the other side had to replace all their windows because the vinyl frames melted from the heat. The son got away with it because his mother didn’t press charges to keep him out of jail.
