I was on a plane flying from Brisbane to Melbourne Australia a month after that. Someone drop a bag on sugar on the floor in front of the toilet at the back of the plane, we still not sure if it’s intentional or not, because nobody came forward. But they alerted airport securities and we all got detained on the plane for a good 4 or 5 hours because they had to find out if it’s anthrax or not. They than moved us to an empty section of the airport terminals with ppl wearing protective clothing like what you saw in bio hazard movies.

We got out soon after that but got swarmed by a bunch of news reporters from TV stations and papers.

So yeah, obviously people were pretty intense back then, in the aftermath of 911.
