Redditors in health care-what is something you never thought you would have to tell another grown ass human?

Conversely, I had to have my gallbladder out and the night before, a member of the medical care team was asking me if I was absolutely sure that there was no possibility that I were pregnant.

I carefully explained to them that I was fine with them doing a pregnancy test if they felt it necessary, but I had just had twins a month ago, and that I was infertile and only able to conceive with medical intervention in the first place. But if the pregnancy test should show that I were pregnant, to call a priest and my fertility doctor, because I sure as hell wasn't having a lot of sex with month-old twins in the house, so they'd probably both be interested!
