Most of my work travel is that I work for Marvel as the official live appearance Spider-Man, so I'm on a plane or driving a few hundred miles every other weekend.
I do also direct movies though, and so after a new release I often have to travel to appear at conventions to promote the movie being out.
Aside from the time on the plane/in the airport or in the car I love the travel overall. It's really awesome to get paid to go to towns and cities I may have never had a reason to visit otherwise.
The worst part though is that Marvel chooses my flights and it's always terrible when they choose literally the EARLIEST flight the day after a gig. It's rough to perform in an arena show or meet kids from 6-10 pm, spend 30 minutes getting changed and getting the suit together to be shipped back, then find a place still open to eat, then shower the sweat off, then try to get sleep before waking up at 4 am to catch a flight.
But aside from that, yeah I like this aspect of the work a lot.
