Redditors under 15 years old, what's something older people are probably unaware of?

Out of 200-225 kids in our grade, I know a girl with a 4.0 GPA, who was listed 23rd in the class.

You know that's not incredibly impressive, right? I mean, what are the GPA's of the people ranked 55th and lower, for example?

School is competitive and we aren't joking when we say its hard.

If you believe only your generation had tough or competitive schools, then this is exactly the sort of logic that makes older people realize how foolish teenagers are.

We are the next greatest generation. I don't care if you agree, I firmly believe this generation will be the next best generation.

Every generation believes that. I'm not trying to insult you, or decide whether you're wrong or right, but it's seriously not something special for your generation.

We're being raised in a time where the world is more accepting, the people are standing up for a cause, and we're only gonna get better.

Pretty much every other generation has been raised in a time like that. Enlightenment, revolution, Emancipation, civil rights, women's suffrage, gay marriage, etc. It's all a constant stream of progression. Again, no insult intended, but you're just not that special.

We are the next greatest generation. I don't care if you agree, I firmly believe this generation will be the next best generation.

You need to facts for this argument.

Kids today are being brought up in richer families, but accepting those who are brought up in low-income families.

Except, like I mentioned earlier about facts, that's entirely untrue. Do any reading on income inequality over the last five decades and you'll understand my point.

Kids coming from extremely religious families, are friends with homosexual kids.

Yes, it was the same in generations before yours. Again, not that special.

Kids today are saying no to the rules set up by society, and working together to find a solution to problems we will face when its our time to.

Thus proving your teenage-level logic. Have you never heard of a society or civilization coming together for a common cause? I assume you're from the US, so I'll use some glaring, obvious examples that you have learned since probably the first grade.

American Revolution. Civil War and Emancipation. Pollution and ecology. Climate change. Women's suffrage. Civil rights movements in general.

Again, I mean these words with absolutely no insult behind them, but rather a dose of truth that we all learn. Your generation is not any more special than multiple generations before it.
