I like to think about shows or games I like and then switch the genre. And think comprehensively what I would love to do in that situation and imagining many different scenarios

Skyrim? Zombie apocalypse.

Fallout? Major war between an all-inclusive mutant rebellion vs. some amalgamation of the enclave and brotherhood of steel.

My favorite anime characters taking their clothes o- I mean DOCUMENTARIES!

Oh and I also think about the book I'm writing. An alternate version of earth where some time in the future they use volunteers as test subjects for a prototype robotic body. They are twice their normal size, their face is beautifully recreated like a silicone but realistic mask over their mechanical skull (can be split in half and retracted in combat) and most importantly they have a complex spherical core in their body, connected to their only biological organ, their brain, which funnels their imagination into the core as a power source.

It's dangerous... But if i elaborate too much i would certainly spoil too much of the book.
