Redditors who are against a universal healthcare system in the US, why?

He could have gone through far less trouble if he would have went my route. I am 20 years old, working as a project scheduler in the nuclear industry currently contracted by an energy company. I have a HS diploma to my name and that's it. I got my foot in the door by becoming a Decon Tech doing outages which is more or less a laborer position. After networking and speaking with people I landed myself a job as a trainee scheduler making 25/hr.. I am pulling a little over 80 grand a year now and I've been working for less than a year. Once I get a couple more outages under my belt I will leave and get picked up by another contractor (The work is pretty guaranteed for schedulers) market my self at around 60 - 70/hr.. I've saved around 30 grand and invested into a couple multiplexes in philly which net me around 2 grand a month passive income.

It's very simple when you break it down. You need money to make money so finding a good source of income to build your original capital is necessary. Then instead of letting your money sit in the bank and collect no interest, invest it in a stable market. I chose real estate because I am young and plan on expanding in that regard. My goal is 10k/month passive income after all expenses and hiring a property manager. Going to a big university is really detrimental to your fiscal future and sets you back like 5 - 10 years.
