Redditors who caused the death of somebody else, what happened?

I had every reason to give my mom the EpiPen shot because she was coughing and said she couldn't get air, starting to panic. I a should have trusted myself and given my mom the shot despite my dad saying not to.

My dad didn't want to jump straight to the "extreme" even though I knew if it was as serious as I thought, she needed the shot. I believe he hesitated because he was thinking of the medical bills. Why not be better safe than sorry?

By the time we got the the hospital after following the ambulance, her brain had been starved of oxygen long enough to practically be a vegetable. Like she could look at you, and other things that were moving, but you could tell she wasn't processing it. Grunting and making noises.

After a week we put her in hospice and she passed away from that starvation/dehydration combo. Honestly wish I could remember her differently than the way she was the last week. Never been the same and I never will
