Redditors who know a compulsive liar: What's the craziest lie they have told?

A good buddy of mine since childhood is a great guy but just tells the dumbest lies for no reason at all. For example, a group of us could meet up and he'll say something like "Damn guys, I'm so full! I had 25 pancakes for breakfast this morning!" We'll respond "Uh, that's insane and would probably destroy your pancreas. Are you sure it was actually 25 and not more like 4?" He will vehemently defend the fact that he actually ate 25 pancakes that morning.

The funniest lie he ever told was back when we were all around 8 years old. We got on the school bus one Monday morning, and all chatting about what we did over the weekend. Most of us just played video games, rode bikes, played basketball in the street, etc., but my one friend apparently had the best weekend anyone has ever had.

He claimed he went on a supersonic jet flying over the SF Bay Area, where we lived, and that the plane was just a huge party with naked ladies and a rock band playing on the wings. Even as naive 8-year-olds we laughed at him and called him a fucking idiot.
