Redditors who go into people's houses to fix things for a living, what is the weirdest thing you've seen happen in a house on the job?

Well I don't fix things but I do go door to door. I had an asian couple invite me into their home while I was on the job. Since they were very old and cute, they seemed harmless so I entered. Then all of a sudden, a crazy amount of people started to enter their home from the back door, there were at least 100 people. I was very confused at this point, I tried to find someone who spoke english to explain what was happening to me. No one spoke english. All of a sudden this very tall man enters and the old couple guided me to him, and he grabbed both of my hands. Everyone started to cheer, but I still had no idea what was happening. Then everything turned quiet and a man who looked to be in his early 30s stood on the table that was in the room and started to say something, of course not in english. Once he finished the man who was holding my hands kissed both of my cheeks and everyone cheered again. I ran out, because I had no idea what was happening and I was terrified. To this day I have no idea what happened but he sends me flowers in the mail once a month, and once on my birthday. I know its him because the cards are written in weird looking hieroglyphs.
