Redditors who have lived at a "party house" where people would hang out at on Saturday nights, did you enjoy living there? What was your experience like?

Lived in a high school trap house/apartment this past summer. I now remember why I was a nerd in high school..

Over the past summer I subletted a room in the city I was working in. There was one other roommate and a third empty room. About 3 weeks in, the new roommate moved in. She was 17 years old and was freshly emancipated from her strict, religious parents, using government grants to pay for the place. At the time she was also suspended from school for 2 months for fist fighting and had to have police checks. I'm a (almost) 21 year old who was a quiet loner nerd in high school, so it was insane to see at least 12 highschoolers and even elementary schoolers (ranging from 13 years to 17 years old) skipping school everyday, popping xanax, chain smoking and drinking nothing but jagermeister and smoking copious amounts of weed. I never joined them (never understood 17 year olds when I was 17.. Let alone now) but usually left them to their own devices because I knew I'd be out the high school trap house soon enough.
