Redditors who have met a former crush years later, how did it turn out?

There was this girl, call her Marge, I met her at the start of college. I was totally in love with this girl, but ignored my feelings cause I already had a girlfriend. But Marge and I became great friends. I ended up breaking it of with my gf, cause my feelings for Marge were too strong. I end up transferring schools for money reasons. I would occasionally visit marge, but I just felt like she was "too cool" for me and I never took a shot. Well after college I moved half way across the country, hadn't seen her in a few years and she reaches out to me. She wanted to know if I was going to a music festival. I said yes so I we decided to pool our resources and go together. It was great, me my best friend, call him Moe, marge and marge's friends (who were always great wing ladies) come and we have a grand old time. I dance with marge but never really made a move, still operating under the same belief that she is out of my league. Moe asked me why I never made a move. I confessed that I loved this girl all my adult life, but she is just "too cool." My friend being the great guy he is went off on me and said "You need to learn to see in you, what marge clearly sees in you." Flash forward 6 months, I'm home for the holidays. Marge throws am xmas party, where I meet her new boyfriend, call him Lenny. Moe comes with me. Everybody introduces themselves, As Lenny introduced himself to me, he says with an unfriendly attitude. "Oh you're The-Sinister-Kid? Marge talks about you more than anyone." Moe and I exchange a meaningful look. And the end of the party marge invites me back to her place to show me her new spot. Lenny has already left the party, so it's just me and her. I go with her because I know nothing will happen. She gives me a tour of her new apartment. We wind up in her bedroom. We end up spooning a little, and she turns around expecting a kiss. It's at this time I tell I should leave. Ended up walking pretty far in the snow with a lot on my mind.
