Redditors who moved into a "tiny house" during the craze a while back, how's it going now?

Not sure if you care for this info, but about a decade ago I lived in project housing where the “apartments” were 8’X12’ rooms with a twin bed, a dresser, a small closet and a sink. Some had windows, some didn’t. The building had a communal kitchen and restroom, kinda like a dorm setup, only with a lot more junkies and hookers.

I mostly enjoyed the solitude, I’ve always liked small living spaces. I didn’t enjoy being burgled twice a month. The communal kitchen was horrendous so I ate a lot of takeout and ramen as the sinks hot tap actually got hot enough to cook ramen in like 5-7 minutes.

I’ve since upgraded to living in metro Detroit, and I still live in a small house but not a tiny house.
