Redditors who have opted out of a standard approach to life (study then full time work, mortgage etc), please share your stories. What are the best and worst things about your lifestyle, and do you have any regrets?

My sister seems to be doing this, she works at Disney about a third of the year doing the Disney collage program-- shes gone 5 times now, spends another 1/4th of the year as a camp consular. She takes some classes here and there at community collage and lives at home when shes not at Disney or camp. She has no desire to more out/ own a home/ get married it seems. I'm glad shes happy, but I do wish she'd grow up sometimes :/

I moved out the second I could, am already married and expecting my 1st child.( I'm 27, shes 26) She might be happier then I am tho so its definitely worth looking into. She goes out and travels with friends. My husband and I also get to travel but he is my only friend which is sometimes really hard.

I do also worry about the future as far as helping our mom and grandparents with old age.
