16 years old and first girlfriend since I got a car. I met a chick one year older at school and we start hanging out. She seems very normal and after 3 weeks we start officially dating. I find out her dad is an extremely religious, ridiculously strict, low intelligence man. He imposes rules such as no skin contact, 9 pm curfew, not allowed upstairs, etc. So we have the back seat of my car, and we start sleeping together.
About 2 months in, I'm starting to notice the crazy emerging. Overly attached, paranoid, borderline psychotic anger and behavior. I started trying to distance myself a bit from her, just busying myself with extra curricular stuff and part time job. But then I discover one of her tactics is to spy on me and ambush me at locations to get my attention. This activity would be hallmark for her. I had to tell my mom to not let her show up at the house without me and not let her wait for me to get home.
Eventually I just bite the bullet and break it off with her after a total of 3 months. It's every bit as bad as I imagined it would be. She screams, cries, begs, threatens, apoligizes, begs more, won't leave me alone. This occurred at the end of summer right before a new school year started. So she starts spying on me with help from a friend that works in the attendance office. She obtains a copy of my school schedule and starts calling my work to try to find out my shift schedule.
The ambushes start becoming frequent. The bell can ring fora class period to end, and when I step out the door, she would be there waiting for me to try to reconsile. She comes to my work to try to talk to me. My life becomes one endless string of paranoia and frustration. When I finally just start LITERALLY RUNNING AWAY from her ambushes, she starts telling some mutual friends that I need to go talk to her because she's 2 months late on her cycle. I tell them to tell her I don't believe her. Soon she starts realizing her acts are futile, and maybe somebody got through to her that she was acting crazy, but I'm not too sure. I ended up having to be near her a few months later, and I asked her why she wasn't showing. She said she miscarried. I don't believe her.
Eventually she got another boyfriend and tried to parade in front of me to get a jealous reaction, but I just shout HALLELUJAH in my head!
