Redditors who were the "smart kid" during school, how did your lives turn out?

Not sure if this counts, I'm still in school. I never had to really put any effort into studying. I almost always just did the excersises and never read through the notes. I was top of the class for most years. I really like maths and physics so I learnt as much as I could from the internet because school was very easy. Well, it has gotten a lot harder now, since this year I will be taking some exams to be able to go to uni. I am struggling a bit, since I can't study for long periods of time and am almost always procrastinating. I am also having some trouble studying for anything that isn't maths, physics or history since I find other subjects boring. My grades are still pretty damn good and I am doing really well for now, despite my lack of effort. I also had to deal with stuff like depression which wasn't that great. Most people have really high expectations of me and I will probably disappoint them, because I doubt my attitude can get me through uni. I will be studying Physics and, although I am really good at it, I don't think I can get by with doing this little work for school.
