Redditors who work at remote places like forest officers, oil rig workers, etc, what creepy things have you noticed while at work?

Honestly, and I know this is going to be super boring, but absolutely nothing.

I worked in remote locations across Alberta and BC with 1-2 other guys for around four years. We worked 12 hour days, so especially in the winter we would be alone in the dark for 4-5 hours a day. We had a generator to power a couple small lights, the lights on the work truck, and headlamps, but depending on where you were on the site it could be pitch black other than your headlamp and you're alone.

Sure, lots of wildlife sightings. Foxes, coyotes, bears, deer, elk, etc. but nothing strange or out of the ordinary. No Bigfoot sightings, no UFOs, no strange lights, no unnatural noises.

Honestly I loved the job, but because we stayed in work camps and weren't essential to plant operations Covid pretty much killed that job for us.
