This is in a book but it actually happened. I know the person who one of the characters is based on.

A young girl, I think she was like 19 or so, was working at a gas station and some guy came in and as she was giving him his change, he said something pretty vulgar to her. I forget what, but I think it was like "About time, ugly b****" because she took a little while getting change. That stuck in her mind and distracted her while driving home. She missed a stop sign and hit a 6 year old boy, killing him. His mother ended up killing herself, along with like 4 others who knew them attempting suicide. Idr how many people exactly died, became depressed, etc.

Anyway. Watch what you say. Things can get messy.
