I had a recent bad experience with a pair of Nike Killshots; although I loved them, the sole at the heel wore through ridiculously quickly. Possibly just bad luck on my part, and to J Crew's credit they refunded my purchase without any hassle. But that put me on the search for a new pair of sneakers. I haven't owned a pair of Reeboks since elementary school (Reebok Pumps, baby), but out of curiosity I browsed their website and came upon the Revenge Plus Gum. http://www.reebok.com/us/revenge-plus-gum/CM8791.html I did a little searching and found surprisingly little talk about them. I didn't come across a single /r/malefashionadvice post on them. But they looked good and the price was right so I ordered a pair.

I just got them and they look GREAT, but wow, they are pretty obvious Killshot knockoffs. I think essentially some Reebok exec showed a designer a pair of Killshots and said, "Take these, change it up a little bit, and put a few Reebok logos on them."

The leather seems about equal quality to the Killshots (which is to say, not amazing, but not terrible). The sole is a little thicker and the shoe itself seems a little roomier. It's not a bulky shoe by any means, by it doesn't have the sleek, slim feel of Killshots. That might be a plus for non-narrow footed people though. The design is also a little busier than the Killshots, but they're a great looking pair of shoes, in my opinion. If you can't tell, the stripes are black, not blue. Oh, and they also sell an all-black version which I fiercely debated getting instead.

I haven't worn the shoes out and about yet so I can't vouch for their long-term quality or comfortableness. I'm interested to hear from anyone who's owned these for a while. But all in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase and I think they're gonna be a great alternative to the Killshots.
