Referendum Results and Afterthoughts

Sys, I never knew you were such a hypocrite. Anyway, let me adress what you have said, as you have made many mistakes.

you aren't in a position to say things need to change.

Really? So you think a decently sized LoM district that is run by monthly popularity contests and makes little progress is ok? Don't say that it isn't a popularity contest because it clearly is. I have run for Vineyard Office a few times myself, my friends have as well, and it always ends up to be the same group of like 8 people who dominate the council. None of these people have ever had mind-blowingly good ideas, like yourself, who is promising weekly meetings and change. The same change that you oppose. Also, just because I'm not well known like Science, doesn't mean I can't make difference.

stating that the result is based on people not using Reddit

Well, guess what. Reddit is the only place the poll was ever posted, and most likely always will be. If you just moved in because of the card shop, you might not be checking the reddit daily like the "club" and yourself. The poll results were greatly affected.

This is your district, don't sit idly by while people with no ambition or promises take leadership positions and get nothing done. Hold every council member to a standard that should be expected of a community official, and vote for those who will make changes.

If you noticed, this is from your mayor campaign. Now, you might ask, why is this relevant? Well, I have called you a hypocrite and it would be necessary to give proof. So, this is my district, and I'm clearly fighting for change. You however, as the person running for mayor, are not, as just about every mayor has said these things and only the carnival had happened, and the VYH is underway. Next, you said to hold every council member to a standard, which is what I'm doing right now, I'm putting the standard to where Salt set it a while ago. A council member who listens to the people and strives for change. Finally, you said to vote for those who make changes. Yeah, I don't think someone who is this much against establishing a VPD and a Vineyard Gang is going to be a good vote.

Alright Scar, now I'll be done with pointed my out System's mistakes and I will move on to you.

If the council wanted to lease most people, neutral is the way to go.

Looks like you misunderstood the point of this. If the VY stays neutral, only those people are happy. If the VY participated in this at all, neutral hermits can stay neutral while the rest can have their fun robbing banks and catching crime lords.

**Out of all this mess, I'm proposing to the Vineyard council to establish an official VPD which paladin supporters can run, and also get some crime going. Nobody is forced to participate, but the VPD is fully the official law enforcement here. It will be only fair that way. Besides, it would be terrible to have to move away from such a wonderful district because a small group of people. # #BringBackRoleplay
