The refugee crisis is scary

ha. Nope. Sorry, you are quite wrong. I travel extensively and like foreign cultures quite a bit. But just like I like foreign cultures and people, I also like "my" cultures and people. I am not really saying anything that is not quite true not only in Germany but also in many other European countries where multi-generational enclaves of non-local communities simply do not and have zero interest in integrating and where people, not even only women, are simply not safe to go, especially not alone, lest they be attacked in what is a real, rather clear manifestation of xenophobia.

I get your confusion because you were seemingly raised in an environment where self-loathing was only soothed through the elevation of other cultures in myth. I think it the malignancy of cross generational collective punishment and shaming that has manifest itself in the kind of self-loathing that on an individual level would result in various types of self-harm.

I am not categorically opposed to muslims, but I am also not one to advocate the self-destruction of one culture in sacrifice to another. What sense is there in European cultures to sacrifice themselves and their cultures essentially die out just out of some submissive and lowly attempt to pathetically achieve some abstract approval from someone.

If you look at the characteristics and manifestations of co-dependency, you will surely also see quite a lot of similarities between especially what is currently happening with these "refugees" and particularly Germany. After decades of being oppressed and punished and collectively shamed for the Nazis and Germany simply taking it without even a shred of self-respect; this act, especially the proclamations by Merkel drip of pathetic desperation of finally being able to prove to a disinterested world just what a good girl/boy Germany is now and how much they really aren't like the nazis anymore to the extent that they would even hurt themselves.

Do you think these "refugees" will continue on German culture and traditions? Hell, even Germans don't continue German traditions and culture and have been deconstructing German culture and language for decades now. This "pollution" or "dilution" (and no, that's not meant in a racist manner) of Germany essentially starts ever increasingly accelerating the breakdown of what it means to be German. Since you may not believe that it is not a xenophobic reference; imagine you are having dinner, would you put your Schitzel and dessert tort in a blender and just slurp it down? Or do you think it would be a greater thing to simply enjoy each for what they are as unique yet equal things? What is xenophobic about true diversity or uniqueness being preserved instead of homogenized or muddled? Do you really look forward to a future when the USA has dominated all cultures and we all watch the same movies and listen to the same artists and play the same games and wear the same clothing brands and there is no Germany no Syria, no France, no Algeria; it's all just places with more of the same people and interests. I for one see myself the opposite of xenophobic in that I would much rather like to preserve everyone's unique nature and culture. I don't see how adding ever more and more cultural contamination to an ever aging and atrophying culture on the continent as achieving that.
