Regarding the 50-40-90 club

I think the 50-40-90 club is just one of those things in the league that's going to require a closer look as time goes by, as opposed to being incredibly impressive at face value as it has been in the past. Not to take anything away from Brogdon's season, but to me it's not unlike the crazy scoring numbers in the 80s (and now to a certain extent) where you think to yourself "how did these guys put up such absurd numbers?" And once you realize the pace they were playing at, it makes more sense.

So no, I don't think the club's requirements should necessarily be changed. At the same time, as the league goes further in the current shooting craze direction, 50-40-90 will still be impressive but might not be indicative of some of the best shooting seasons of all time. Again, Brogdon has had a great year, but I think he's in part one of the first examples of this- I wouldn't feel entirely comfortable saying his 18-19 is as impressive as Steph's 15-16 or Nash's 07-10.
