I have very bad experiences from people in my college who were predominately from places Ekm, Kollam, Kottayam, Tvm. All from my friends group in college. Contrary to the trolls, the person from Kollam was the one that showed any signs of decency and was very professional. I've been bullied ,manipulated and emotionally abused by the rest. And the fixation with money and religion was disgusting.The holier than thou attitude which led to further bullying as am an atheist. I wasn't even vocal or smug about it. This was a huge group like 20 people .I've gone NC since. It has scarred me for life. As a naive 20 something from North Kerala who didn't believe all this, I have a similar stance like that of "not all men " argument.

Two of my most cherished friends are from Kottayam and I know it's terrible to paint everyone with the same brush but I'd be very careful in my interactions with the rest.
