I do wish it was like some states and also showed if the ballot was counted or rejected. I had an election clerk turn into Supercop on me and reject a ballot supposedly because of a minor signature change (I’d had an arthritis flare up.) I wasn’t notified it was rejected or told to submit a new ballot/vote in person, even though I’d voted weeks before Election Day. It just showed my ballot was “received.” Luckily I found out in time when a friend at the township told me about it, so I still was able to vote.

I love mail in, but for mail in to truly work we need to get a completely transparent chain of authority on our apps/ballots with frequent communication to voters if there are any issues.
