I would like to hold protest against the short sign-up time that was provided.

I have been a supporter of this league and eagerly waiting since the sign-ups that arose in October 2015. However I have been away for the Holiday Season and so happened to not have much Internet access for the past 15 days (check my reddit History, I posted regularly up until the 24th Dec and have been absent until now). I literally just got back onto my computer no more than 2 hours ago for the first time since roughly New years Eve.

I MAY have seen This post If there was a similar one placed on r/XWingTMG, since I don't check xwingonline every day for new information, but then again who did? After all, there was a 2 month wait between the League's inception and any substantial news of forward progress.

As for the 7 day window for sign-ups (Januray 3rd to Januray 10th), during that time I was on a mission trip and did not have my computer on me at all.

I don't exactly want to say that I am a big-name player when it comes to X-Wing Vassal, but in that regard I wouldn't consider myself un-known either. Afterall, I am currently positioned 5th in the X-Wing Vassal ELO Ladder (I was 3rd last time I checked before Christmas..... I will have to kick Phildo and Morgan's butts later), and I would assume that many of the regular/top players would know my handle (Mr Sunol). My point being, I am not a new player, I am not an inexperienced player, I have been supporting Vassal X-wing play for a long time, and I really have no desire of missing the start of the biggest organised online X-wing event / nor do I wish to be joining this league late and being seeded in the lowest Pod.

Now I am not demanding that I be given a place in Season 0, but I would appreciate a little bit of courtesy. If more notice was given prior to Christmas then I would have been amongst the first to put my name down. Even if the sign-up window was extended by one day (maybe two) and I had a chance to see it, then this wouldn't even be a problem for me.
