I regret not starting sooner. It's definitely the most fun I've ever had in a racing game. And it ruined every other game/sim to me. You won't find the level of competition iRacing has with that level of convenience. And the truth is they constantly improve the game, so you always have new things to get used to and to try.

The money spent wasn't that much since I spread it over the years. For the first couple of years I would buy one or two tracks per season. I usually renew on black friday, so that makes it more or less 8 euros per month, or the cost of 2 videogames. As for the time spent, it would always be "wasted" time, it's not like I'm neglecting real-world responsibilities for it.
