Regretting thrown items

That’s the thing with minimalists starting out. They throw out everything. Take your time, it’s not a race. It took me at least two years to part with things in my closet and that time to realize only a handful of items were used throughout the year. It’s about organization, what you need for you, and don’t be hard on yourself if you make a mistake! Life changes! Sometimes we need that item later in life, maybe five years later. Once you’ve parted, let it go, don’t bring it back into your life by telling yourself, ‘I wish I didn’t throw that out.’ It’s like being in a relationship and going like, ‘hey, remember that time you did this..’ It’s been dealt with, move on.
