The Reincarnate spell--who's used it and what were the results?

This happened in 3.5.

My old DM didn't really pull any punches. He made it clear on more than one occasion that, no, our party was not the biggest and baddest thing out there, and sometimes we were going to run into untenable situations. The fun part was often figuring out how to extract ourselves and survive.

We had just entered a creepy tower in the forest, which we normally wouldn't do, but we were harried there by a some wyverns. We were about level 7 or 8, and my bard was a level behind because I had started the campaign a few sessions after everyone else. I noticed a room tucked away in the back that was well-lit and decided to investigate while everyone else was patching up and making plans (smoke break). Weird, nothing in there except some odd light sources.

Oh, wait, that's a Bezekira. Oh, OK, it's pouncing? Grabbing? Raking? Man, wait, that damn glittercat critted how many times? That's a lot of damage. Like, all the damage.

DM whispers to me, "shit dude are you dead?" Uh, you think?

So all the party knows is that my bard walked into a room and never came out. They walk in, defeat the goddamn devil kitty, and proceed to scrape as much of me off the walls, floor, and ceiling into buckets as they can. So then it's a mad dash back out of the tower, trying not to spill too much of me, and eventually get me to a druid who lives in a different forest inhabited in part by randy young green dragons. They present the buckets o' bard, and he's just like, Jesus Christ, you guys, wtf, then proceeds with the reincarnation.

Roll on the table. Lizardfolk?! Whaaaa??? Then DM asks if I'd like to to for gender. In the spirit of "why the fuck not" I agree. Lizardfolk female. This will take some getting used to, and my character sheet is way out of whack right now. So we all happily reunite and make our way back out of the first.

Remember those randy young green dragons? Yeah, we got ambushed. I did my best to talk our way out of it by convincing him that I was also a green dragon, just shifted into a convenient humanoid form that I found pleasing (lizard), and that these were my slaves, and we were just leaving, but I'll play you a song, and here have nice stuff. Partial success, he believed I was a dragon, but no, I was not to leave, as he had an itch only my newfound cloaca could scratch.

So my first encounter post-reincarnation was fending off a would-be dragon rapist who would alternate between tail-whipping me prone and attempting to mount me, and attacking my party members as they tried to recover me.
