I totally understand. This things are pretty known here in Gainesville among longtime residents at least. Chuck WAS a nazi skinhead in high school, confirmed by him directly. I don’t think he’s proud of it, hence the tattoo removals. Pretty sure Moonpies for Misfits is about him running into an old skinhead acquaintance who was also out of it at that point. But they absolutely did play that game, which again I’m sure they’d like to erase from history. It was some years back. I’m sure they wouldn’t play it now but they used to. This is also confirmed by their crew. Chris being abusive was definitely rumored and accepted as true given witnessed behaviors but I never saw it directly. And it was rumored about multiple partners. And he is kind of a dick and egotistical imo.
