I rejected a manipulative girl for the first time in my life today after years of being a pushover and the nice guy. I have never felt so good about standing up for myself and retaining both my pride and dignity.

Good job man. I actually had a similar experience lately with someone who matched me.

We exchange instagrams and started texting but I soon began to realize how paranoid and skeptical by the things she was saying.

“How is someone like you single?”

“Are you in a relationship?”

So she didn’t have a lot of recent pics on her ig. So I asked “hey I’m not trying to sound weird but do you have any more recent pics of yourself?”

I was about to add “I’m not asking for nudes if that’s what you’re thinking”

But I didn’t. She then said “all my recent ones are on the gram and yeah it is weird”

I said “ok no problem”

She then said “oh those kinds of photos”

I go “no I’m not asking for nudes”

She then said “we both know what you were implying”

I said “no I wasn’t and if I was, I would have asked for them. I’m meeting a stranger off the internet.. not that weird to want to get a better idea of what they look like”

She said “why when you have their personal ig”

I then said “honestly you’re really skeptical and paranoid about everything. I don’t even know you and you’re trying to argue with me already.”

She said “wow”

I then blocked her.
