Rekjavik, Iceland-Quite a novel city. Beautiful, Intellectual and Free Spirited. Wonderful place to visit and perhaps live if you like cooler weather and darkness in winter.

Honestly though, ReYkjavik is close to the the bottom of my list of cool cities.

It's tiny, you can walk across it in 45 or less, there are a few cool things that catch your eye e.g: that church, the opera House, that Street full of American hipstets. Otherwise there is not a whole lot.

The city is stupid expensive. Like 40 bucks for a half way decent meal. Forget alcohol, that'll bankrupt you.

I'm glad that Iceland is open for tourists, but honestly I'd only go for the unique natural beauty. I'd definitely go if you're into landscape photography or hiking.

Otherwise going on a "city break" is utterly pointless and a waste of money. Go to Copenhagen instead.
