Relationship between first person shooter games and mass shooters.

Be civil? I got downvoted to hell and everyone is arguing with scientific fact. Someone asked what I know about it. They said my opinion has no merit if I don't have a PhD after my name. I said I have experience with violence since I have been in the military for 11 years. I was in the 101st Airborne. I have seen hundreds of shot people in my life. I have had numerous people die in my hands. That gets downvoted too? You downvote veterans because you disagree with scientifically proven theories. You think a pro gun person would applaud someone who shows that there might be other factors in people becoming violent. Instead you get criticized by "liberals" who act as close minded as tea party folk. I guess they just assume people are born killers. Give them some pills and therapy and it will fix the issue. Them sitting in front of a computer shooting people for 15 hours a day will not having any ill effects. So far by the "liberals" here I have been told to go fuck myself, I am full of shit, and my argument is the same as an anti-vaxxer. Yet, study after study shows violence increases violence. People are delusional if they don't see that. You get people on one side who think Maxim magazine is too naughty for kids to see at the super market but believe soldier of fortune magazine is fine reading for anyone.

I can completely support the idea that guns aren't the issue. But, I can also completely whole heatedly believe that violence is the problem. Yet, somehow people think that violence isn't the problem with violence? Apathy doesn't create violence? Desensitization doesn't cause apathy? My grandfather was murdered. My dad lost his mind in Vietnam. My sister's husband got blown up with an IED. How much more experience do I need for me to think that violence doesn't create violence? How many of these "liberals" wore an airborne patch on their shoulder?
