Nobody is talking about your marriage. Literally nobody. I'm sure you and your husband married for love, many people do. Just not everyone. There are some people who don't care for romance and are content with company.

You know those people who jump from one relationship to the next? Dating one person right after the other? Those people get into relationships of convenience. They're never deep or meaningful, but do supply sex and company. They can last years if both parties are content with the circumstances. And that's enough for some people. Not everyone feels comfortable having deep, strong feelings for their partner and would rather someone who is easy to be around for their own mental health.

Just another reality of life - not everyone marries for love. There's a million reasons, from money to appearances, to tax breaks to passports to feeling like they need to be married to fit in.
