The relationship mentality that the wife/girlfriend is always right creates a toxic relationship

I think people dont need to always be right and there sometimes isn't even an objective right or wrong. I think what people need from their partner is to be heard, acknowledged, and some sign that the person is willing to put an effort into the topic. That doesnt need to be blind agreement and getting their way, it can just mean the other person taking time to explain their pov and where they're coming from and willingness to discuss what caused the issue

I think everyone would appreciate an honest conversation and understanding, even if it doesnt end with your view being validated as the ultimate truth, much more than someone just always saying ok you're right, I'm wrong, without even really caring to understand the issue.
